Being a good designer is about having a specialized skill set to solve design challenges (whether romantic or commercial), and good design strikes that sweet spot of visual balance, emotion-inducement, & relevance; at its best, fashion is its own language, telling a tight story through shapes, drape, deep-cut references, and colour.
